Our vintage cocktail bar harkens back to 1867, when John “Gassy Jack” Deighton arrived on the south shore of Burrard Inlet with a barrel of whiskey and built the first saloon in “Vancouver”. It’s the perfect place to meet friends after a long day at work for some relaxed drinks, to start a night out, or even to wind down before dinner.
The cocktails on our menu range from refreshing tipples to the strong and serious, all crafted using the finest spirits, fresh produce and house-made ingredients including bitters and shrubs.
We carefully selected wines that reflect the best qualities of the regions in which they were born, whether from the vineyards of the Okanagan or around the world. Perhaps most importantly, we believe that the best meals are always enjoyed with wine, so we provide you with exceptional value through our bottle prices. In fact, our mark-up on all our wine is the same as most restaurants corkage! We think that’s a pretty fair way to give our guests the chance to explore some outstanding wines.
Celebrating the revival of craft beer in B.C., we also pride ourselves on stocking some of the best local craft beers and ciders. They reflect the personalities of their brew masters and change regularly.
